Buah Delima

Buah delima a.k.a. Granatapfel. Bukan buah favret. Tapi hari tu beli jugak, sebab tgk kat market tu cem best. I like the taste, but the whole fruit is basically made of seeds. Fruit flesh sikit saja. So camna nak makan? Kalau 'pepak' a.k.a kunyah, pahit plak. Kalau makan cem anggur, lawak la plak. 

This afternoon, I've got an idea. I made sirap buah delima. I am crazy like that. Kadang-kadang tetiba timbul idea. Most of the time idea ngarut-ngarut but this was a very successful one.

I cooked the fruit flesh ngan a little bit of water and some sugar. Not forgetting a little vanilla. After boiling, I pressed the fruits through a sieve. Lastly I have an aromatic syrupy liquid.

After its cooled. I took some finger biscuits (biskut utk tiramisu) and break them into small pieces. Dipped them into the syrup and lined my small glasses with them. After that I layered it with whipped cream and put another layer of dipped biscuits. Finally another good blob of whipped cream. Just like tiramisu but without the mascarpone and coffee. Then I placed my little glasses in the fridge.


Pastu before serving I  sprinkled cocoa powder onto them. Hmmm...sedapnya, baru la bleh layan buah delima tanpa biji-bijinya.

Waaaah bijak2!! U da try buah Kaki x?? tupon sdp tau..i biasa beli kt turkish shop sbb buahnya lg besar..Granatapfelsaft i penah try mase kt turkey arituh..sedaaaaap! pure lg haaa.

muahahah...sirap granatapfel nih mmg sedap menjilat jari aar...malangnya susah nak carik ek kat sini..oh buah pisang kaki...kalau ranum, sedap di makan begitau saje..
